EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
Whether you are starting out and need to find the right school, or are just looking to brush up on your skills, on this page you will find various ways to better yourself and your art. These are the resources that have been recommended to me by my peers or I have sought out myself, but by no means represents the entire spectrum of those available to you. While they are not presented in any particular order, I have tried to arrange them into respective groups so you can quickly find what you are looking for.
BRICK AND MORTAR SCHOOLS
While a traditional art education can be ridiculously expensive, brick-and-mortar schools are effective at preparing students for a careers in the entertainment industry. Classes are usually taught by industry professionals and can provide the proper atmosphere to succeed. Here is a list of schools that offer either a entertainment design, game art, or illustration degree.
ONLINE EDUCATION
Online courses and workshops can be taken in tandem with your main education and used as ways to boost your learning outside of school. They usually run for several weeks and are a great chance to learn skills that may not be taught in class.
